Marwell Zoo Company
Marwell Zoo, owned and operated by Marwell Wildlife, is a project that aims to conserve species and habitats. It is using artificial intelligence to keep the cold away from Nyala antelopes used to the warmer climates in South Africa. The initiative is a partnership between the zoo and IBM and will test whether technology in a ‘smart’ heater can effectively and efficiently control heating for animals more used to warmer climes.
