European Research Council Investor

The European Research Council is a European funding initiative, designed to support the scientists, engineers, and scholars in Europe.

Its mandate is to encourage the high quality research in Europe through competitive funding and to support investigator-initiated frontier research across all fields of research, on the basis of scientific excellence.

The ERC is composed of an independent Scientific Council, its governing body consisting of distinguished researchers, and an executive agency in charge of the implementation.
