Wefunder is a platform that enables startups to raise capital from their customers and community, alongside VCs and angels -- through "community rounds". Startups can raise up to $5M per year from unaccredited investors, as well as accredited investors, and can publicly promote their raise. Startups that have successfully used Wefunder to raise $5M from thousands of fans include Substack, Mercury Bank, Replit, Levels, etc. Wefunder community rounds can be stand-alone, or part of a larger (e.g. Series B) round.
