BIORASIS was established in Dec. 2007 with an initial goal to commercialize UCONN’s and OSCI’s wireless, needle-implantable, miniaturized (0.5 x 0.5 x 5 mm) sensor platform for real time, continuous glucose monitoring.
In addition to glucose monitoring Biorasis is working towards outfitting its sensor platform to monitor other bio-analytes in the body that are important in other disorders such as cardiovascular, cancer, liver, kidney abnormalities, stroke and epilepsy.
