Sabrina Badir is the Founder and CEO of pregnolia AG, a clinical-stage medtech company based in the Zurich Area, Switzerland, dedicated to addressing challenges in modern obstetrics through innovative technology. With a robust background in biomechanical engineering and clinical research, she has pioneered the development of a medical device aimed at quantifying cervical stiffness to improve pregnancy care and predict preterm births. Sabrinas journey began at ETH Zurich, where she earned both her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Human Movement Science, followed by a PhD focused on the mechanical characterization of the human uterine cervix during pregnancy. Her research has been published in reputable journals, contributing significantly to the understanding of cervical biomechanics and its implications for obstetric care.
