Adamcares is a B2B2B embedded SaaS AI medical scribe company that develops and distributes customised speech documentation interfaces for nursing documentation systems across Europe.
Founded in 2022 as a spin-off of Wiegand AG (established in 1975), Adamcares enables software vendors to create AI-powered, voice-first documentation solutions without the need for AI expertise. Its agentic framework orchestrates large and small language models (LLMs and SLMs), such as GPT-4o and Phi-2, using prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
In order to develop specialised versions of their products and continuously improve partner deployments, Adamcares collects anonymised real-world input and corrections from nurses. This data is semi-automatically analysed to refine language models, intents and user flows, resulting in robust, field-tested voice solutions.
This feedback loop is being integrated into AUDIRA, their modular development studio. It will enable their business developers to monitor and enhance their partners' voice interfaces without the need for engineering intervention. This internally developed tool enables 80% of partner customisations without the need for developer resources. It also shortens integration time, reduces costs, and improves scalability. Built on a zero-knowledge architecture, sensitive data remains entirely under the control of partners, enabling frictionless scaling in privacy-sensitive environments.
Their first product, AdamText, enables structured, speech-based documentation via real-time JSON/FHIR output and is already integrated with Swiss market leaders such as easyDOK, topCare, Nexus, and Cistec. Their second product, AdamStructure, maps spoken input directly onto standardised nursing taxonomies (e.g. interRAI-LTCF), enabling interoperable, audit-ready performance records. In Switzerland, they are co-developing voice-based performance documentation with the owners of epaAC and LEP, the national leaders in structured care standards.
In 2025, they will expand to Germany, Austria, and Luxembourg in partnership with Thieme Recom, the leading publisher of nursing documentation standards (ENP, BAss, NANDA-I). Together, they are piloting AdamAssistant: a personal AI assistant to support nurses with everyday tasks such as providing reminders, answering knowledge-based questions and assisting with documentation. This chat-based AI solution will benefit nurses by improving the quality and completeness of documentation, and unlocking substantial revenue potential through enhanced billing accuracy.
Their founding team has expertise in nursing (BSc), AI research (PhD) and software engineering and sales (BSc in Business IT). To accelerate their progress, they have recruited top-tier talent from Switzerland's leading universities.
