I have spent the majority of my career growing business in the electrical products, packaging, and chemical industries. Throughout, I have been buying, selling, and combining companies to fit strategic goals as an executive for public and private companies. I have also held a variety of board positions. After several years founding and running Bascom Ventures, I have moved on to manage Alumni Ventures' Foundation Fund and CIO Select Fund. In addition to those funds, I work with individual investors to help them build their custom funds while making people better investors with educational content.

My background includes founding and scaling companies, most recently as President & CEO of 2D2C, Inc. a company that develops and sells safer, energy saving products through innovative technology. In addition, I have worked for Tenneco, AlliedSignal, and Texas Instruments, among others.

I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University.
