Anil Bhushan ^Leaders

Anil Bhushan trained at the Salk Institute and Institute Curie before starting a lab at UCLA as a tenured faculty. He moved to UCSF in 2014 where is currently a professor in Medicine. He co-founded a company Deciduous Therapeutics in 2019 that harnesses immune clearance of senescent cells in age-related diseases. His lab has since uncovered how fibroblasts orchestrate an immune response and how this process fails leading to cancer, autoimmunity and susceptibility to infections in elderly. He fundraising for a company Dandelion Labs that plans to develop biologics drugs based on the stromal immune circuits to combat solid cancers, autoimmunity and obesity.
