Richard Parker Top-Executive

My background is in optical physics, atomic physics, and mathematics, with a specialization in sensors and measurement. I have worked with (and developed) a wide variety of atom-optic sensors, including accelerometers, velocimeters, magnetometers, and electric field sensors, as well as IR and visible imaging systems, photodiodes, and PMTs. I also have experience with a wide variety of laser systems (CW, pulsed, high power, frequency combs, etc.), optical system design and construction, data analysis and statistics, and data acquisition and automation software. In my academic background, I leveraged that expertise to perform state-of-the-art precision metrology. I now work on extensions to that technology for commercial and national security applications.
