Jennifer Webber Top-Executive
I find shared interests and build relationships between and among people, organizations and institutions to achieve progressive change. I’ve done this in a wide range of settings, from political campaigns and lobbying efforts to leading a state commission and for a Fortune 50 company. Over the years, I’ve learned that what I enjoy is identifying why someone should care about an issue and using that understanding to persuade them to join a coalition or effort.
I specialize in advocacy strategy, coalition and relationship building, message development and communications, and project and program management. I am known for providing honest, direct and diplomatic advice designed to move organizations and projects forward. I’ve served in executive level positions in both the private and public sector, and I’ve managed contentious campaigns successfully. Time after time, in the most challenging circumstances, I get things done.
Relationship and coalition building also translate to resource development and fundraising – communicating to donors why they should care about programs and projects – and this is something I have done consistently in my work. I enjoy helping organizations identify and plan how to meet both their short and long-term goals, including how to plan strategically, secure funding, and allocate resources effectively.
I am a trainer and presenter, including being invited to present at "frank. the gathering for people who change the world." at the University of Florida, a national conference for social change communicators, where I shared observations from our 2014 Oakland minimum wage campaign in presentation entitled "Raise the Wage".
My clients have included organizations in California, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington DC and elsewhere. I welcome inquiries about how I can help your organization. Please visit my website to learn more, www.webberpublicaffairs.com, or contact me at Jennifer [at] webberpublicaffairs.com.
