Managing Director at High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) and Managing Director at Deep Tech & Climate Fonds (DTCF) — leading two of Germany’s most significant institutional venture funds at the early and growth stages.
At HTGF, one of Europe’s most active early-stage venture capital funds (4 Unicorns), I lead the Digital Tech investment sector and hold cross-functional responsibility for Communications, Marketing, Events, and IT. As one of three Managing Directors on the executive leadership team, I’m helping shape HTGF’s next chapter after two decades of institutional growth.
At DTCF, Germany’s flagship growth-stage fund for deep tech and climate innovation, I back the companies building European technological sovereignty and the industries of the energy transition.
My path to venture is rooted in operating. Before HTGF, I built and scaled entrepreneurial ecosystems — founding organizations, advising scale-ups, and designing education programs that have helped hundreds of founders. That operator lens shapes how I invest: I back teams solving hard problems in software, AI, deep tech, and frontier digital infrastructure, and I work closely with founders on the non-obvious decisions that compound over time.
Beyond my fund responsibilities, I serve as a trusted sounding board for family businesses, family offices, and professional investors navigating emerging technologies — particularly AI and blockchain, where I’ve been an early investor and scout for over a decade. I sit on boards, advise on strategic investments, and help long-horizon capital connect with the frontier.
