Lotan Levkowitz Top-Executive
Co-Founder & Managing Partner at Grove Ventures
I work with founders at the very beginning. Often before there is a company, sometimes before there is a clear idea.
My focus is being the first real partner to entrepreneurs who want to do the hard work early: understanding a market deeply, identifying a real wedge, and turning raw insight into a durable company. I spend most of my time in the messy phase where nothing is obvious yet and the decisions matter most.
I invest primarily in AI and software infrastructure, enterprise software and vertical AI, physical AI and industrial technologies, and digital health. Markets where leverage, data, and distribution matter more than surface-level product polish.
Over a decade as an early-stage investor, I've been involved in most of my investments from the pre-idea or ideation phase: problem framing, first market validation, go-to-market thinking, hiring early leaders, and navigating inflection points as the company scales.
First investor and board member at Alice (formerly ActiveFence), Navina, Onfire, Lumigo (acquired by Dash0), and several companies still in stealth. Board member at env0 (2021-2025), working with its founders from their earliest days, and board observer at RapidAPI (2014-2020; acquired by Nokia).
I'm drawn to founders who think in first principles, are comfortable being wrong early, and care more about building something real than sounding impressive.
