Alison J. Malloy Top-Executive
Alison J. Malloy is a venture capitalist. She is the Managing Director of investments at Connecticut Innovations ("CI"), CT’s strategic VC arm with $500M of AUM. Alison leads equity investments into promising start-up companies and provides leadership via Board of Director participation. She is the Fund Manager of CI’s $50M Future Fund with a focus on tech and CPG companies. Alison co-founded CT’s women investor network; Tidal River, with First Lady Annie Lamont. She was the CEO and co-founder of Design2Launch (D2L), a leading tech startup in workflow collaboration for packaging and labeling for the highly regulated pharma & CPG industries. She raised VC funding and exited to Eastman Kodak Company in 2008 and again in 2016 to Danaher. Alison started her investing career at the Slovak American Enterprise Fund in Slovakia. She held leadership roles at GE Capital and Arthur Andersen. She graduated from Boston College, serves on the CWBC (Council for Women at Boston College), is a dual citizen (American/Italian), an avid sailor, a wannabee singer (in the shower only - LOL) and lives on Shippan Point in Stamford, CT with her husband, two children, and her dog!
