At BlackRock, as a member of the Global Fixed Income investment team, I have the great opportunity of driving how our investors relate to AI. It’s a unique role as we are both using AI for a transformed investment process and also highly focused on AI’s impact on the businesses we invest in, markets, and the economy.

My background includes studying AI as an undergraduate at Columbia and building NLP solutions for investing more than six years ago. I’ve been advancing firmwide AI adoption through engagement, training, and community, including a weekly internal AI newsletter that keeps our teams informed on this rapidly evolving space.

Outside the firm, I stay connected to the broader AI ecosystem by attending local events and meeting regularly with startups in Silicon Valley. It’s an incredible time to be at the intersection of AI and investing, and we’re still only at the beginning!
