- Led the Finance IT departmental efforts on the FTB Japan Cash Securities & Exchange Traded Derivatives platform redesign, a business-critical initiative supporting growth in trading volumes, achieving >50% throughput, performance, and capacity improvement, and eliminating historical regulatory non-compliance issues.
- Executed projects to improve IB Finance data and standardize the APAC Daily P&L and Balance Sheet Product Control processes. Delivered in-house built systems for P&L, postings, adjustments, and agency commissions reporting across Investment Banking trading products, retiring 5 legacy apps, and achieving TCO savings of > 1mCH., Architected, developed, and delivered multiple mission-critical finance applications, reducing operational risk, and improving controls through standardized infrastructure & product flows.
- Implemented the first entity agnostic, front-office sourced, straight through processing flows into APAC finance for OTC derivatives (IRS/CDS/Equity Options/Structured trades), setting the stage for future data convergence projects, that extended the coverage to the entire IB derivatives trading business.
- Drove the end-to-end analysis, design, and development of an innovative APAC P&L calculations & reporting platform for Product Control, and a Front-Office Listed Derivatives Analytics solution for senior country management, decommissioning disparate legacy end user tools, and achieving improved business processes and controls.
- Advocated the global finance application rationalization program, developing, managing, and communicating a comprehensive tracking, metrics/ KPIs and reporting dashboard, directly working with CFO IT department heads, that lead to a 70% reduction of application footprint over 3 years., Asia-Pacific PeopleSoft e-procurement rollout across 350 business users in APAC Group Finance.
