My current mandate centres on three things I care about most: making data quality operational rather than aspirational, building governance that scales with AI adoption instead of trailing behind it, and keeping accountability where it belongs — with the business owners who define the logic, not the teams who consume the data downstream.
With an MSc in Information Systems Engineering and 20+ years at the intersection of Business and IT, I've learned that the hardest part of governance isn't writing the framework — it's making it something people actually use. I lead teams through that translation: from regulatory obligation to daily practice, from policy to habit.
I stay closely engaged with regulatory examinations, data platform transformation, and the practical realities of embedding AI governance into an institution that's moving fast.

- In charge of a team completely re-built from 7 to 12 FTEs (plus 2 consultants) throughout the time of my mission. Ensure management of 800+ operational reports covering 3000+ data points, being one of the most critical activities the Year End Exercise with a final report to the President’s Annual Press Conference with more than 50 key business figures.
- Lead of the Stream EIB Group Data Alignment, contributing to the alignment of taxonomy and the availability of data in Group Data Warehouse for the purpose of Group Reporting.
- Lead the implementation of an in-house Data Quality Engine allowing the implementation of 200+ DQ Controls in less than 3 months and, ultimately, adopted Bank wide.
- Follow-up on the implementation of BCBS239 Project and contribute to the
successful implementation of the requirements within OPS and GLO.

- The first major challenge during the first months of the project was to translate GDPR Regulation into Processes, Organisation, Technology and Information Requirements
- The second major challenge was to find feasible risk-based solutions (IT and Non-IT) to address each requirement within a Minimum Valuable Product Approach
- And how does an Enterprise Architecture Referential work as an accelerator to address your Data Protection major challenge? The question might have been challenging, but the answer was truly enlightening! ;)
- Last but not least, the challenge to lead a cross-organizational project team and ensure that requirements were broadly understood, the solution was clearly defined and the project timeline was met in time. Challenge accepted and milestones met!
