Description: I entered the public service as a media and marketing specialist for the Australian Federal Police in Canberra. This was a deeply gratifying role, working with exceptional men and women in a wide range of specialties while my focus was managing the media, marketing and public affairs capabilities in a dynamic environment.
I worked on a number of counter terrorism projects in a time when social media and technology was on the cusp of rewriting the ‘rule book’ in times of crisis. Being exposed to that realisation also provided an opportunity to maximise content development through advertising and marketing to influence and change behaviours.
