Business experience includes 8 years working in an operation capacity culminating in being the manager of Trading operations at Barclays Global Investors. This group of 12 was resonsible for processing all equity, fixed income and currency trades at BGI and interacted with all areas of the investment process including portfolio management, trading and back office operations. Responsibilities included driving the system development for this group which then lead to more intensive work in the IT area.

IT experience includes acting as a business analyst at BGI working on Y2K and EMU conversion projects. This experience lead to joining Dresdner RCM to create and head their business consulting group. The move to StraightThrough further solidified my IT experience as a business analyst and project manager working at diverse clients such as Mellon Capital Management, Northern Trust and a variety of smaller investment companies including a number of hedge funds. Responsibilities at StraightThrough also included sales, marketing, client service and account management.

More recent experience at Creighton Capital Management has involved both business and IT skill sets setting up the operational systems and processes at a small hedge fund and ensuring that they are compliant with all SEC mandates and operate in an efficient manner. Being a small company this involves having a diverse set of abilities to address all issues that arise in a rapidly evolving environment.
