PERSONAL SUMMARY:
I’ve always been driven by curiosity, particularly when it comes to understanding the dynamics of communities and the people that shape them.
As Senior Director of Operations for Investor Relations, I’m responsible for providing strategic support to tackle a wide range of challenges that both our team and investors face in the venture capital space. My role is centred around creating a seamless investment experience, ensuring that all teams work in sync to address investor needs and continuously improve the user experience on our platform.
I lead a dedicated team of 7 who work closely with investors and account managers, ensuring everything behind the scenes is running smoothly. I thrive on collaboration, working cross-functionally with various departments to identify pain points and enhance our processes with an unwavering focus on investor satisfaction.
My background in Engineering, Biomedical Science, and community leadership has shaped my approach to problem-solving as well as exposed me to many types of ideas, approaches and philosophies. I’ve learned that the best solutions are often found after diving deep into an issue, engaging with the right people, and crafting a thoughtful, practical response. While the journey is rarely straightforward, it’s always rewarding! But also, when there’s a clear, direct path, we should take it.
A book that resonates deeply with my approach is “Range: Why Generalists Triumph in a Specialized World” which celebrates the value of diverse learning and adaptability, something that has guided both my career and personal growth; and very much validates the path I have taken!
Outside of work, I’m passionate about sports, travel, and hosting gatherings with friends and new acquaintances. Whether it's board games, movies, or trying out new experiences, I enjoy connecting with people and learning from different perspectives, especially when I can bring those insights back to improve what I do.
