* Pioneered in-house penetration and stress testing on internal systems, then formalized and managed a project team that upgraded all internal services to external service standards.
* Led negotiation team (for all of Engineering) in obtaining more favorable terms with vendors, increasing performance by ~20% and decreasing costs by ~15%.
* Developed Linux-based DevSecOps automation tools, and dynamic network monitoring tools to proactively monitor, secure, and alert based on baseline deviations.
* Modernized incident response technology tools, formalized post-mortem analysis procedure, reporting criteria, and validated governance and regulatory compliance.
* Designed and implemented proprietary dynamic defense-in-depth automation and centralized log ingestion and analysis, providing holistic insights into system health.
Software Development Accomplishments
* Led development with cross-functional globally distributed teams to launch five new accessible, mobile-friendly, SEO optimized sites, supporting 18 languages, and driving ~4M visitors per month.
* Launched 10 mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.
* Completed full audit of API security, integrating authentication and authorization protocols, as well as preventing request hijack attacks.
* Migrated ~100 legacy websites (SEO heavy) to the cloud without interruption.
