Emovo Care SA is an ISO 13485 certified medical device company developing accessible robotic devices to bring movement home for people with motor impairments. The first product is an active orthosis that enables hemiparetic stroke patients to move their hands at home and will be CE marked by 2022. The core technology behind the device was developed during a PhD at EPFL, where the research received worldwide media attention for its novel brain-computer interfaces.
