Maj Invest is one of Denmark’s leading asset management companies, managing assets for primarily institutional clients. The Maj Invest group was established in 2005 and is today owned by employees, management and Danish institutional investors PKA, Realdania and PBU.

The group comprises six companies: Maj Invest Holding A/S, Fondsmæglerselskabet Maj Invest A/S, Maj Invest Equity A/S and three companies related to international private equity funds. Click here for more information about their legal structure.

They have two main business areas: Asset Management and Private Equity.

In Asset Management they provide advice on strategic asset allocation and asset management of securities listed on regulated markets for institutional clients and the mutual funds Investeringsforeningen Maj Invest in Denmark and Maj Invest Funds in Luxembourg. They also offer wealth management services to wealthy individuals, companies and funds.

Their Investor Relations & Markets department primarily handles Fondsmæglerselskabet Maj Invest A/S' client relations and supplies distributors with information on Investeringsforeningen Maj Invest and Maj Invest Funds.

In Private Equity they act as advisors to private equity funds on their investments in unlisted equities in Denmark and abroad. In Denmark they advise four private equity funds and provide discretionary investment advisory services to clients on private equity portfolios. In the international part of their private equity business they advise three private equity funds on their investments in Vietnam, within microfinance and within energy and fertilizers.
