Red Cedar Ventures is an early-stage fund that supports startups throughout Michigan, particularly those affiliated with Spartan Innovations. Founded in 2014, it is a subsidiary of the MSU Research Foundation and the first venture fund in mid-Michigan. Red Cedar Ventures focuses on making early-stage investments in high-tech startups that are commercializing intellectual property created at Michigan State University.
