The Behavioural Insights Team (BIT) is a social purpose company whose mission is to apply ideas from the behavioural sciences to real world settings to help, support and enable people to make better decisions for themselves. The buddying platform would connect isolated individuals with their peers, volunteers, as well as support workers and other healthcare professionals. Primarily it would work by connecting up people via a web-hosted chat platform accessible via an SMS message. Importantly, NETWORKY for Aging will be designed so it can be delivered quickly, at scale and at low cost.
