Swortec ^Company

SWORTEC is a company that was established in 2004 through collaboration with the Swiss Foundation of Cyberthosis (FSC) and Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL). The FSC specializes in neurological re-education, particularly for paraplegic and hemiplegic patients. SWORTEC's Cyberthosis product line consists of innovative devices and methods for neurological rehabilitation. Their MotionMaker\u2122 stationary device and accessories were launched in 2008 and have been successfully employed at three different rehabilitation and research institutions in Switzerland. They are also planning to launch a mobile and autonomous vertical device called WalkTrainer\u2122 in 2011.
