Crisalix ^Company

Crisalix is a company that focuses on developing scientific technologies for plastic and aesthetic surgery to improve the relationship between surgeons and patients. They offer a unique solution on the internet that provides new consultation standards for practitioners. Crisalix is the inventor of e-Stetix, which is the first web-based 3D preview technology for plastic surgery based on physical properties of the body. The company was initiated in 2006 with the support of CO-ME network in Switzerland and is a spin-off of internationally renowned academic R&D centers. Crisalix has developed a system for reconstructing the patient's body in 3D from 2D images and has collaborated with ISTB, EPFL, and the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Inselspital Bern. The Innovation Promotion Agency (CTI) Switzerland co-financed Crisalix in 2009 for its unique technology and being a pioneer in the field of surgery. In 2010, a third research center was created in Barcelona.
