Audi Electronics Venture is developing a central driver assistance system control unit called zFAS, which is the core of the systems for piloted driving. This technology combines computing power, networking, and data processing to manage driver assistance systems. The zFAS will debut in the new Audi A8 and replaces the spatially isolated control units that were previously used.
