Hawkeye UAV Ltd began commercial operations in New Zealand in 2009. With a background in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) work (through military experimental research and operation), staff were well placed to develop a system that could be used for civilian commercial photogrammetry. In 2011, a new aircraft was unveiled, called the “AreoHawk”.
