Corixa was a developer of immunotherapeutics with a focus on treating and preventing autoimmune diseases, cancer, and infectious diseases. Founded in 1994, the company conducted preclinical development programs, including the BEXXAR® therapy and the MELACINE® vaccine. In 2005, Corixa was acquired by GlaxoSmithKline, and it ceased operations in 2006.
