Founded in 2014, Red Cedar Ventures (RCV) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the MSU Research Foundation and the first venture fund in mid-Michigan. RCV makes early-stage investments in high-tech startups commercializing intellectual property created at Michigan State University. Red Cedar Ventures supports for funds: Pre-Seed Fund, Opportunity Fund, Opportunity II Fund, and Michigan Rise Pre-Seed Fund III.
