S32 the new venture fund launched by Bill Maris, was named in homage to Section 31, an intelligence agency from the Star Trek universe.
Maris, the GV (Google Ventures) founder/former-CEO, has raised $150 million for the project that will focus on various investments.
The fund will be run directly by Maris and primarily based out of San Diego.
