Established in 1999, Matrix Capital was co-founded by David Goel and is headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts. Matrix has delivered attractive, long-term risk-adjusted returns through a concentrated portfolio of high-conviction investments in U.S. companies focused on semiconductors, software, generative artificial intelligence, machine learning, neural networks, and the technology convergence in life sciences. Prior to co-founding Matrix, Managing General Partner David Goel was a senior technology investor at Julian Robertson’s Tiger Management.
