Hannah Wilen UDM

Hannah Wilen is the Founder and CEO of Capd Period, where she has pioneered the development of the CapdCup, the first menstrual cup designed to be emptied without removal, currently under patent. Prior to her role at Capd Period, she co-founded Kavahana in Santa Monica, California, demonstrating her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to innovation. Hannahs extensive experience includes serving as a Product Development Engineering Consultant at LooseLeaf International, where she significantly enhanced manufacturing processes, and as a Product Manager at Launch Mobility, Inc., where she led the launch of a commercial fleet management product. A graduate of Duke University, she holds a Master of Science in Quantitative Management and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering, graduating cum laude. Her expertise is recognized through various awards, including the 2023 Westly Prize and the 2022 WomensNet Distinguished Business Award, and she is proficient in Mandarin Chinese. Hannahs dedication to professional development is exemplified by her leadership roles at Duke University, where she was an Engineering Phone-a-thon Leader and a Google Student Innovator.
