Marcia Cunha Shimizu is the founder of Plenapausa, Brazils first Femtech focused on womens health during menopause, where she aims to provide information, support, and solutions for women navigating this critical life stage. With a robust background in psychoanalysis from the Centro de Estudos Psicanaliticos de Sao Paulo, Marcia has been practicing as a psychoanalyst since 2016, facilitating therapeutic interventions to help individuals find meaning and healing in their lives. Prior to her current venture, she founded Scarlet Wellness, where she honed her skills in business management, marketing, and e-commerce. Marcia has also served as an angel investor at Feel, demonstrating her commitment to fostering innovation in womens health. Her academic credentials include an MBA from FGV - Fundaçao Getulio Vargas and specialized training in psychoanalysis and coaching. With numerous publications in Brazil and recognition in English-speaking awards, Marcia continues to advance her professional development while advocating for womens health and well-being.
