Derek Sham is the Founder and CEO of Cosm Medical, based in Toronto, ON, where he is pioneering the development of the worlds first digital gynecology platform that leverages AI, software, and 3D printing to create personalized gynecological devices. With a robust background in medical technology, Derek previously served as Global Marketing Director and General Manager at LABORIE, where he led significant product and growth strategies, achieving remarkable sales increases and successful product launches. He holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Guelph. Fluent in Cantonese, English, and French, Derek has contributed to various publications in Canada and has been recognized for his leadership in the medical field.
