Doug Barron ^Leaders

Doug Barron serves as the Executive Director of the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance, a position he has held since 2010. Under his leadership, the organization has significantly advanced its mission to educate the community about ovarian cancer, providing vital resources and support to those affected by the disease. Prior to this role, Doug honed his skills in client services and portfolio management at various companies, including Asset Management Professionals and Allied Global Holdings, where he successfully managed multimillion-dollar portfolios and developed strategic partnerships. His career began at Nationwide Credit, Inc., where he held multiple leadership positions, building and managing client services teams and establishing key account management initiatives. Dougs educational background includes studies in Business at Alma College, and he has been featured in various United States publications, showcasing his expertise in nonprofit leadership and community outreach.
