As the Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder of Elucidata, Swetabh Pathak brings a wealth of experience, having been a co-founder of a tech start-up and a key member of the founding team at an education start-up. Elucidata is a pioneering biomedical data company, actively involved in transforming biological discovery through the integration of diverse biomedical data, with a primary focus on bulk RNA-seq and single-cell data. Swetabh played a crucial role in securing $16 million in the Series A funding round in September 2022. The company, with a 150+ multi-disciplinary team, has developed Polly, an industry-leading data-centric MLOps platform for life sciences. Polly not only cleans and links biomedical data at scale into an ML-ready form but also delivers 90+ TB of biomedical data from various sources, facilitating data science teams in scaling up their operations. Inspired by the FAIR guidelines, Polly's OmixAtlases provide exclusive access to curated multi-omics data, enabling 10x faster identification of therapeutic assets with high odds of success in the clinic.
