I am a versatile leader with more than 20 years of experience from early pharmaceutical drug discovery and research. I hold a PhD in Molecular Microbiology and have during my carrier established and developed research teams within protein & peptide engineering, structural and chemical characterisation, recombinant technologies and analytical method development. I truly believe that data science and computational approaches are pivotal for the future success of pharmaceutical research and that collaboration at the interface of different Scientific disciplines leads to the strongest innovation. I have since 2018 been dedicated to initiate and drive global organisations, which provides capacity and competencies needed for digitalisation of early drug discovery. My leadership experience in this area covers registration & management of scientific data, development & implementation of machine learning & AI, computational biology/bioinformatics, structure-based molecular modelling and drug design, LLM-assisted information retrieval & scientific Intelligence, external partnerships & emerging technologies and educational frameworks relevant for driving the digitalisation journey in a pharmaceutical company.
