Rajiv Phougat Leader
As CTO for Data & Analytics, I am responsible for KPMGs overall technology portfolio, data & analytics platform(s), data science and insights delivery.
Before this I was Managing Director for Deal Advisory & Strategy and was responsible for Technology Strategy and Architecture for Deal Advisory & Strategy Analytics COE. In addition to overall technology portfolio, I led the analytics industry solutions and data operations group.
I was Advisor to CTO organization (Global Information Services – GIS) at Eli Lilly & Company, I was responsible to define and implement enterprise technology strategy and architecture.
Before this, I was CTO for Automotive Industry Solutions at IBM Corporation. I was charged with defining innovative industry solutions and strategy for global OEMs and related clients using cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain & IoT. Before this role, I was global Technical Strategy Leader for Watson and designed several Cognitive solutions for clients across different industries. I also drove technology and operational innovation for a strategic account as Global Technical Advisor and oversaw strategic partnership; technical solution proposals; the integration of various IBM capabilities; deliver integrated and persuasive architectural thought leadership; and the alignment of account sales strategy with client’s business/IT strategy.
I founded Technical Sales Leadership Council (An IBM Academy of Technology Affiliate) where I help cultivate the world-class architects & technical sales leaders. I am Board Member of The Open Group IT Architect Certification Authority and IBM Thought Leader Architect Certification Board.
I have been widely recognized for creative, visionary leadership. In 2012, I received “Best of IBM” award, which is given to only 500 people from all over world (out of IBM’s approximately 450,000 employees). I have received several Service Excellence awards and Technical Excellence awards.
I have served on several government initiatives, industry advisory boards, and charitable/community organizations. As a Thought Leader, I have authored, co-authored and presented numerous papers and articles in international conferences, journals and magazines.
I hold an MBA from Kelley School of Business (Indiana University), Master of Information Technology degree and Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. I am “The Open Group”™ Distinguished certified Chief Architect and IBM Though Leader level certified architect.
