Afton Vechery ^UDM

Afton Vechery is the Founder and CEO of a stealth womens health platform based in Los Angeles, California. With a robust background in reproductive health, she co-founded Modern Fertility, where she served as CEO from 2016 to 2022, leading the company to a successful acquisition for $225 million. Under her leadership, Modern Fertility pioneered at-home fertility testing and built a comprehensive digital experience for women, earning accolades as the most innovative healthcare company by Fast Company. Afton also brings extensive experience from her roles at 23andMe, Willow Pump, and Autism Acumen, where she honed her skills in product development and strategic growth. An advocate for scientific literacy, she is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Society for Science and has been recognized for her contributions to womens health and entrepreneurship. Afton holds a BS in Neuroscience, Business, and Entrepreneurship from Wake Forest University, where she was actively involved in research and leadership initiatives.
