Jackson Health System is a nonprofit academic medical system based in Miami, Florida. Established in 1918, it has grown into one of the largest and most comprehensive health systems in the United States. Named after Dr. James M. Jackson, the system includes six hospitals, with Jackson Memorial Hospital being one of the largest public hospitals in the nation, featuring over 1,550 beds.

The system offers a wide range of healthcare services, including primary and specialty care, long-term care, behavioral health, and urgent care. It is recognized for its Autism-Friendly Designated Emergency Department, the first of its kind in Florida. Additionally, the UHealth Jackson Critical Care Pavilion provides advanced intensive care and supports transplant and neurosurgery services. Under the leadership of CEO Carlos A.
