PERSONAL SUMMARY:
Passionate real estate entrepreneur with private sector and institutional experience managing the multi-family assets class at Invesco covering assets from Boston to Atlanta in core to value-add strategies in wholly owned and JV structures, garden, mid-rise and high-rise asset types.
Jacques is the pioneer in deploying building automation software to reduce gas and electric consumption across the country in multifamily and student housing, bringing predictive maintenance and tools for proactive management in buildings without a BMS while leveraging existing infrastructure. Delivering a re-occurring 20% reduction in consumption, thereby decarbonizing scope 1 emissions has created millions in capital value in addition to risk mitigation solutions around leak detection and business interruption risks.
Previously, Jacques supported Global Head of Transactions of JPMC's Corporate Real Estate focusing on underwriting unique asset sales, negotiating leases, lease buy-outs, divesting surplus property dispositions, reducing operating expenses through redevelopments.
Prior to joining Corporate Real Estate division, Jacques served in numerous finance roles throughout the firm, namely in Investment Bank Finance and Corporate HR Finance. While in Corporate HR Finance, he managed the firm wide stock and option incentive budget of $2B and analyzed share dilution impact of employee option exercises.
Jacques is a graduate of NYU's Schack Real Estate Institute with a Masters Degree in Real Estate Finance & Investments. He has his Economics degree with a minor in Business Administration from Boston University.
