Emil LEZAK Ultimate Decision-Maker

Chair of WG3-Life Cycle Assessment at European Innovation Council

Current Job Duration: 2 mos (until March 2026)

HEADLINE:
R&D Project Manager; Innovation Broker

PERSONAL SUMMARY:
I advise teams turn strong ideas into funded, deliverable projects that make a real difference. As Co-Founder of CTTI, I link sound evidence with clear business outcomes: life-cycle assessment and costing to guide design choices, “safe and sustainable by design” to keep people and planet in mind, “do no significant harm” checks to meet EU rules, and practical routes to market with sensible plans for results and intellectual property. My background is in research and development in advanced materials, and I still work with a lab mindset: measure, improve, prove.
Alongside my work at CTTI, I serve as an Expert & Lecturer in EU Funds/Programmes at Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, a Network IQ Coach with Tataj Innovation Ltd, an Expert and Evaluator for European Commission programmes, and a lifelong adviser (Pro bono!) to the National Centre for Research and Development.
Over the years I have supported hundreds of EU proposals and then stayed on to help deliver them, working across manufacturing, energy and the bio-economy. I enjoy translating complex work into plain language that evaluators, investors and partners can trust, with clear objectives, reliable data and honest milestones. I work closely with SMEs, large industry, universities and public bodies, bringing structure, momentum and a focus on measurable impact. Based in Spain and working across Europe, I’m most useful when a consortium needs a steady hand to connect policy, science and business so good ideas move from concept to market with confidence.
