PERSONAL SUMMARY:
I focus on delivering digital transformation and innovation in businesses across a wide range of industries. I am passionate about putting the customer or client at the centre of that transformation and using technology and date intelligently and sensitively to help us become insight driven in how we create better solutions and outcomes for our customers. I also care deeply about how we enable cross functional delivery teams to excel in complex and challenging environments and believe in creating a safe and inclusive environment for everyone. My experience tells me that when we create positive, constructive and inclusive teams we allow innovation and transformation to grow and accelerate leaving behind the orthodoxies and constraints of the past. I am still an engineer at heart and I'm really interested in causality in human and non-human systems and the flow of work that defines our purpose, enables individual & team autonomy and develops a sense of mastery and learning for everyone. This is especially the case as we try and scale Agile practices and mindsets to create a work culture and environment that sustains itself and creates its own momentum for the next wave in transformation and innovation.I take the time to educate myself and collaborate with business, operations and technology teams on how to realise benefit and competitive advantage from the intelligent application of AI and understand its limitations. Key to this is driving adoption and ensuring that AI models are well understood and deployed in an appropriate business context.I try to remain open, transparent and constructive when my own thinking or beliefs are questioned and I really do enjoy hearing alternative and challenging perspectives on how to do things better. It's in the listening we learn not in the talking.
