I lead AI strategy and engineering for the company’s ecosystem of 70+ businesses and direct the Rakuten Institute of Technology, Rakuten’s research organization. Before joining Rakuten, I served as a Senior Director at Google, overseeing Local Search product strategy and development. I also spent over 15 years at Microsoft and held various senior leadership roles in Bing and Commerce, including serving as General Manager for News & Feeds.
