I currently work as Regional Controller at Viscofan (IBEX 35) for North America, based in Chicago. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Controlling and the Regional CEO, I am in charge of reviewing the results of the region, ensuring compliance with the strategic goals.

Previously, I worked as Internal Control Manager at Laureate International Universities (NASDAQ) covering Iberia and EMEEA Shared Service Centers, where I was responsible for implementing the control environment (ICFR) and SOX requirements. I have also worked as Senior Auditor at PwC.

I have experience in financial and business controlling, budgeting, internal controls, accounting, among others. Accustomed to working in complex, international and changing environments and in high-pressure projects. Native Spanish speaker, and fluent in English (full professional competence), demonstrated by working in a multicultural environment and in the USA.

Some of my natural abilities are: strategic vision, leadership, interpersonal intelligence & communication skills.I have proven ability to build strong relationships, and I easily understand the needs of the team and individuals. I have a positive attitude, I am accountable for my work.
