As an Accounts Payable Director , I have first-hand experience managing the Accounts Payable process to ensure invoices are processed and paid following existing terms. By collaborating with Accounting & Finance Executive, I have coordinated day-to-day workflow and provided leadership and guidance to Accounts Payable Clerks which improved accounting efficiency. I am equipped with the knowledge and skills to develop, write and implement policies and procedures to minimize risk or erroneous disbursements and also integrate AP automation to eliminate manual tasks and improve efficiency. I have managed and trained teams of Accounts Payable Clerks to streamline accounts payable processes.My drive comes from knowing that my effort, in addition to team effort will define, implement, and drive solutions that enable sales, operations, and finance functions. Deploying my expertise in developing process efficiencies, maintaining accurate vendor records, managing the accounts payableteam, reviewing system controls, and ensuring proper documentation; I’m focused on helping organizations identify areas of improvement within the accounting department to increase efficiencies and develop streamlined accounting processes, and implementing solutions accordingly.Leveraging my ability to research technical finance solutions, team leadership, financial operations management, and financial analysis; I can set project goals and guide the accounts team through the full cycle accounts process and ensure efficient account reconciliation. With an agile mindset and financial acumen, I can streamline accounts team day-to-day operations.
