Rick Gerson Businessman
Rick Gerson is the Co-Founder, Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Alpha Wave, a global investment management company focused on three main verticals: private equity, private credit, and public markets. Some of Alpha Wave's investments include SpaceX, Aman Group, Athletic Greens, Apnimed, COUR Pharmaceuticals, OfBusiness, and Lenskart. Prior to founding Alpha Wave, Rick was a Founding Member and Managing Director of Blue Ridge Capital, a global investment firm started in 1996, where he was from inception for 15 years. Rick serves on the board of directors of Aman Group, Athletic Greens, Arena Events Group, Multiply Group, African Mission Healthcare, 92nd Street Y. He is also a co-founder and serves on the board of Abu Dhabi Catalyst Partners. Rick is a member of the Cleveland Clinic International Leadership Board, a founding member of the Board of Trustees of the PAVE charter school in Brooklyn, a member of the Panthera Conservation Council, and a member of the Belfer Center's International Council at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Rick graduated from the University of Virginia, McIntire School of Commerce with a B.S. in Commerce with a concentration in Finance.
