Schmidt Futures has launched an initiative called "AI2050" which is backed by a $125 million, five-year commitment from Eric and Wendy Schmidt. The initiative aims to support exceptional researchers in artificial intelligence who are working on key opportunities and hard problems that are critical for society to benefit from.
