They also automatically apply planning regulations to calculate the potential development of every site within any search area. They have built their algorithms on top of a mix of open-source geospatial tooling such as PostGIS and GDAL/OGR. Their algorithms are written in python and run on AWS infrastructure. They use machine learning to tackle some of the more challenging problems, they use Tensorflow and GPUs to build deep neural networks.”
